With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laura Gardner Hancock (Hartsville, South Carolina), who passed away on October 22, 2022 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Keith Hoyle Hancock; and her parents, Harrell Lee Gardner and Winifred Parrott Gardner. She is survived by: her son Casey Gardner Hancock of Hartsville, SC; her sister-in-law Lynn Kaskin (Kirk) of Eutawville, SC; and her brother Dr. H. Lee Gardner, Jr. (Bonnie) of Hartsville, SC..

Laura requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Darlington County Humane Society, P.O. Box 1655 Hartsville, SC 29551, to support a cause she was dear to, the animals she loved, and to help them build a new shelter.
