She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Bennett and Alice McIver; her grandparents, Horace and Bell McIver; her son Sidney Johnson; her close friend Hazel "Squirrel" Littles; and her brother James McIver.
She is survived by: her children, Stacey Bennett of Atlanta, GA, Shannon Johnson (Alicia López Verdu) of Boston, MA, Sanquan Bennett of Hartsville, SC, Shquanda Bennett of Hartsville, SC, Shaquetta Bennett of Hartsville, SC and Savion Bennett of Hartsville, SC; her brothers, Robert Lighty (Angeline Williams Lighty) of Allentown, PA and Wilbur C Bennett; and her grandchildren, LaDaisha Hughes, TaNaisha Graham of Atlanta, GA, Zion Bennett of Hartsville, SC, Brently Bennett of Hartsville, SC and Starla Montgomery of Hartsville, SC. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, a host of other dear relatives and friends.
