She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Herbert Battle and Clara Roberts Battle; her husband John R. Draper; and her siblings, Robert "Bobby" Battle (Gleucyra "Glen") and Betty B. Johns (Radford "Ducky").
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol D. Mozingo and Janet R. Alexander (Ray); and her grandchildren, Laura A. Privette, Jeremiah J. Mozingo (Aubrey), Katherine L. Mozingo (Eli) and Lisa A. Menasco (Dan). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
