He was predeceased by: his mother Nettie Webb Huggins; his wife Dorothy Warren; and his sons, William Warren (Lou) and Donnie Warren. He is survived by: his son James Edward Warren of Hartsville, SC; his grandchildren, Joey Warren (Renea), Austin Robertson (Jenny), Whitney Warren (Dakota), Harleigh Warren, Tommy Warren and Donnie Warren, Jr. (Christy); and his great grandchildren, Lyde Warren, Hannah Warren, Benjamin Warren, Johnny Warren, Faithlyn Warren, Hadlee Warren, Emalee Warren, Ashlynn Warren, Hudson Warren, Paisleigh "Squirt" Warren and Macy Melton.
Memorials may be made in his honor to the Hartsville Masonic Lodge #173, The Loyal Order of the Moose, or the First Baptist Church of Hartsville, SC.
