It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jewell A. Sweatt (Hartsville, South Carolina), who passed away on October 16, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Andrew Jacobs and Evelyn Jewel Gainey Jacobs; and her sister Frances Anderson. She is survived by: her daughter Romona Johnson (Milton) of Society Hill, SC; her granddaughters, Kristy Register and Kasey Gainey (Michael); her great grandchildren, Shane Register, Aaliyah Register, Brianna Register and Blake Register; and her siblings, Wanda Howle, Marcia DeShazo, Faye Hammons and J. W. Jacobs. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
