She is survived by: her husband Edward Ward of Hartsville, SC; her daughters, Lakesha Anderson (Aaron Hines) of Hartsville, SC, Shemeka Anderson of Hartsville, SC and Chiquitta Ward of Hartsville, SC; her stepdaughter LaTisha Peterson; her siblings, Jessie Mae Johnson (Jimmy) of Hartsville, SC and Donnie Anderson (Ada Brown) of Lamar, SC; her sisters-in-law, Monica Ward and Ruby Anderson; her nieces and nephews, Frances Washington (Shepherd) of Bishopville, SC, Cheryl Anderson of Hartsville, SC, Wanda Govan of Hartsville, SC, Dione Govan of Hartsville, SC, Terrell Anderson, Tahjae Edwards of Hartsville, Donald Price and Terrance Price; her close friend Rosa Peoples; and her sisters, Mildred Murphy, Allene Buchanan, Calperta Cranford and Glendora Toney. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the St. John United Methodist Church (214 W 7 Pines St, Lamar, SC 29069). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at the St. John Umc Cemetery.
