He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Graham Kelley and Irene Grantham Kelley; his wife Helen Segars Kelley; his daughter Sybil Kelley Jones (Eugene); and his siblings, Martha, Frank, Robert, Jennings and Delmus.
He is survived by: his close friend Freddie Andrews; his children, Jan Kelley Horton (Donald Ray) and Eddie Kelley (Joanne); and his grandchildren, Gabe (Rebecca), Lee Newsome (Trina), Chastity Sanders (Ritchie Walters), Steven Horton (Ashley) and Kevin Horton (Cammie).
