He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Sue. He is survived by: his sons, Jason Rhoad (LaDonna) of Hartsville and Brian Rhoad of McBee; and his grandchildren, Jack, Clare, Patrick, Thomas and Catherine. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Norton Funeral Home and Crematory - Hartsville (1414 W Carolina Ave, Hartsville, SC 29550). A Mass was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Mary the Virgin Mother Roman Catholic Church (363 N Fifth St, Hartsville, SC 29550). A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the McBee Cemetery.
