He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace L. Parnell, Sr. and Ruth Mae Lloyd Parnell; and his brother Warren Parnell. He is survived by: his fiancée Katie Driggers Blalock; his son Daniel Parnell of Hartsville; his stepchildren, Caroline Lindsay (Jack) of Florence and Brent Blalock (Tracey) of Florence; his grandchildren, Hailey Lindsay (Sunshine), Jackson Lindsay, Ashley Blalock, Taylor Blalock, Justin Owens (Bethany) and Casey Wiggins; his great grandchild Haidyn Owens; his sisters, Annie Ruth Griggs (Joe) of Hartsville and Peggy Farmer of Hartsville; his nephew Wade Parnell (Lori); and his friend Jerry Poston.
