He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucius Henry Taylor and Irene Middleton Taylor; and his wife Vickie. He is survived by: his children, Henry "Happy" Owens Taylor, Jr. (Lisa) of Darlington, SC and Nicole "Nicki" Taylor (Brandon Moody) of Hartsville, SC; his grandchildren, Hayley Taylor Smith (Richard), Kathryn Victoria Taylor, Owen Nicholas Taylor and Victoria Ruth "Ruthie" Moody; and his pet Brownie. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home (306 W Home Ave, Hartsville, SC 29550). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home (306 W Home Ave, Hartsville, SC 29550).
