He was predeceased by: his parents, John Douglas and Jeanette Douglas. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Fergueson; his children, Kimberly (Jerry Lorenz), Jennifer E. Douglas of Hartsville, SC, David (Jennifer Douglas) of Naples, Fla, Deborah (John Sloan) of Tucson, AZ and Jill (Robert Kelley); his close friend Sherri Selby; and his siblings, Joanne Berry, John and Arthur Douglas. He is also survived by his eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, a cause George held close to his heart, or to Hospice Care of your choice.
