He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Malone and Mae Etter Warren Wilkes; his siblings, James Lee "Tot" Wilkes and Frances Wilkes McKenzie; and his granddaughter Kylie Hause.
He is survived by: his wife Deena Watford Wilkes of McBee, SC; his children, Jeannie W. Hause (Kyle) of Hartsville, SC, Crystal W. Jordan (Jeff) of Patrick, SC and Brad Lear (Susan) of Hartsville, SC; his siblings, Mary Lou Hancock, Jessie "Boker" Wilkes (Lou Ann), Jerry Wilkes (Abigail) and Lawrence "Pete" Wilkes (Michelle); and his grandchildren, Noah Hause, Amber Winburn, Grayson Winburn, Emma Winburn and Curtis Lear.
