It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gail Atkinson Gainey (Hartsville, South Carolina), born in Darlington, South Carolina, who passed away on October 12, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence Laverne Gainey, Sr.; her parents, Robert Atkinson and Inez Gainey Atkinson; her brother Robert Louis Atkinson Jr.; her brother-in-law Donnie Crowley; and her pet Hank.
She is survived by: her son Squeaky Gainey, Jr. of Hartsville, SC; her sister Sandra Crowley of Patrick, SC; her nephew Beauford Atkinson (Lisa) of Hartsville, SC; her niece Cassie Terry (Jamie) of Patrick, SC; and her grandchild Cash Terry of Patrick, SC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
