He is survived by: his wife Effie Weatherford Smith of Hartsville, SC; his children, Suzanne Mobley (Dwight) of Florence, SC, Joan Murphy (Chris) of Conway, SC and Jason Smith of Kennebunkport, ME; his siblings, Sybil Warren (Peyton) of Florence, SC, Dianne Woodham of Hartsville, SC, Vickie Kelly (Skeebo) of Hartsville, SC, Gayle Chaplin (David) of Hartsville, SC, Pam Vereen (Jerry), Charles Wilson Smith, Jr. (Celeste) of Hartsville, SC and Gregory Smith (Sherry) of Hartsville, SC; his grandchildren, Stephanie McElreath (T. J.), Morgan Murphy, William Smith, Parker Smith and Maddie Smith; and his friend Don Atkinson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
