She was predeceased by: her parents, Nazarene Johnson and Annie Mae Jefferson Johnson; and her husband David Simon. She is survived by: her sons, Eric Simon of Hartsville, SC, Corey Simon (Mary) of Hartsville, SC and Derrick Simon (Rene) of Spartanburg, SC; her siblings, Anna Perry (Steven) of Charlotte, NC, Willie Johnson (Viola) of Hartsville, SC, Dianne Moses (late Mack) of Hartsville, SC and Bannie Ree Williams (Sherman) of Hartsville, SC; her grandchildren, Zakieus Simon, Courtney McCrea, Allontae Ellerby, Trenton Smith and Derique Simon; and her great grandchildren, Angel Kirk and Jordan Kirk. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great-nephews.
