He was predeceased by: his father Emmett Lee Stewart, Sr.; his former wife Brenda Johnson Stewart; his grandparents, Carson, Nita Morrison, A. J. and Elma Mae Stewart; his cousin Jim Morrison; and his brothers-in-law, Johnny Goode and Larry Abbott.
He is survived by: his mother Geraldine Stewart-Dalton; his wife Kay Abbott Stewart; his sisters, Susan Stewart Goode of Hartsville, Angela Stewart Barfield (Terry) of Troy, OH and Kathy Ann Stewart of Andrews, SC; his children, Emily Stewart Hamilton (Stephen) of Summerville, SC, Katie Stewart Winburn (Ronnie) of Hartsville and Andrew Lee Stewart (Kerri) of Taylors, SC; his grandchildren, Ethan Lee Winburn of Hartsville, Kendall BreAnn Hamilton of Summerville, SC and Murphie Sloan Stewart of Taylors, SC; his nieces, Heather Morgan Smith (Charlie) of Hartsville, SC, Meredith Barfield Prenger (Todd) of Troy, OH, Mallory Barfield Allen (Tyler) of McDonough, GA and Kaitlyn Barfield Way (Ben) of Upper Arlington, OH; his brothers-in-law, Bob Abbott (Caroljean) and Dennis Abbott (Cheri) of Charlotte, N. C.; and his sibling Lee. He is also survived by two great nieces and two great nephews, two uncles, and several cousins.
