It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Grace Murphy (Hartsville, South Carolina), who passed away on October 1, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Baldwin and Daisy Baldwin; her husband Hubert Murphy; her siblings, Yula Mae (Bell), Mary (Mickey), Georgiana (Jo Ann), Goldie, Willy (Wimp), Joe Lewis (Buck), Andrew (Jim) and David; and also Catherine Linebarger.
She is survived by: her sons, Herbert Murphy (Vernez) of Charlotte, NC, Michael Murphy (Mabel) of Spartanburg, SC and Gary Murphy (Beth) of Wesley Chapel, FL; her goddaughter Angela Marie Bordley; her grandchildren, Quonnisha Harrison, Anna Grace Murphy, Michael Travion Murphy, Jorden Cohen and Chelsea Robinson; her great grandchildren, Jeremiah Deese Jr., Kanora Harrison and Chandler Robinson; her siblings, Ivory (Couda), Dan, Duffery (Duck), Cleve Baldwin (Will Jr.) of Charlotte, NC, Jean Stitt (Jackie), Vernese Dicks and Precious Lee McCory (Jimmy) of Charlotte, NC; and her niece Gladys Woodward (Charles) of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and leagues of relatives and loving friends.
