She was predeceased by: her parents, Early D. Young and Mazie McKnight Young; her husband William Wayne Sims; and her brothers, Marshall Young and Keith Young.

She is survived by: her daughters, Lori Sims Lowe (Randy) and Melode Sims Manuel (Cone) of Hartsville; her grandsons, Seth Lowe (Peyton) of Hartsville and Collin Manuel of Hartsville; her great grandchild William James Lowe; and her brother Legrande Young (Judy). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
