He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Herbert Lawton and Louise Amis Lawton; and his brother Joseph J. Lawton, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Drusilla, Edgar III (Tru), John (Heidi) and Louise; his grandchildren, Alexei Cree, Justin Cree, Luke Cree, Miles Cree, Edgar Lawton IV (Mary Catherine), Henry Lawton, James Lawton, Owen Lawton, Ethan Lawton, John Robert Lackey and Mary Lawton; his great grandchildren, Evelyn and Lillian Lawton; his nephew Dr. Joseph J. Lawton III; and also, Coles, Louisa and James Lawton.
