He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Jean Putnam; his parents, Donald David Putnam, Sr. and Mary Etta Langston Putnam; and his wife Jean Stewart Putnam. He is survived by: his daughter April P. Leeth (Vincent); his grandchildren, David V. Leeth (Macie) and Elizabeth M. Leeth of Taylors, S. C.; his brother Richard C. Putnam of Florence, S. C.; his sisters-in-law, Mary S. Gainey (Howard) of Greensboro, N. C., Diane S. Newsome (Carl) and Linda G. Stewart of Hartsville, S. C.; and his aunt Margaret L. Clark of Concord, N. C.. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
