It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl Hicks Jackson of Hartsville, South Carolina, who passed away on January 13, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyde Benny Hicks and Margie Atkinson Hicks; her sons, Russell Wayne Gainey and Charles Bennie Gainey; and her brother Johnny Hicks.
She is survived by: her husband James M. Jackson; her daughters, Michell Parker (Dale Todd), Myrtle Beach and Jenny Rogers; her stepdaughter Gina Gathings (Jamie); her son Travis Vincent (Scott Parks); her sister Barbara Hicks; her sister-in-law Dianne Ingram; and her close friend Bobby Withrow. She is also survived by Seven Grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
