He was predeceased by: his father Huly Thomas Meares Jr. of McBee. He is survived by: his mother Virginia Ann Bell Meares of Hartsville; his wife Yanet Meares of Myrtle Beach; his children, Madeline and Manning Meares of Florence; and his brother Tom Meares of Hartsville.
