It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brantley Kendrick Gainey Sr. of Hartsville, South Carolina, who passed away on June 11, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dollie McElveen Gainey and Ward Bennett Gainey; his wife Sonja Munn Gainey; his children, Brantley Gainey, Jr. (Lindsi) of Hartsville and Kelli Gainey Solly (Stephen) of Belmont, NC; his grandchildren, Landon Gainey, Brayden Gainey, Kennedi Gainey, Logan Solly and Colton Solly; and his siblings, Byron Gainey (Melissa) of Charleston, Tonda McLeod (Joey) of McBee and Kevin Gainey (Pandora) of Florence.
