He was predeceased by: his parents, Eli Hugh Hendrix and Eula Gainey Hendrix; his wife Sarah Tadlock Hendrix; his daughter Angela Dawn Hendrix-Benton; and his siblings, Pete Hendrix, Buddy Hendrix, Sue McManus, Mae O'Neal, Dorothy Dillon and Vonciel Holloman.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Sarah Grace Benton; his sister Belva Prozzi (Gino); and his siblings-in-law, Betty Anderson (Andy) and Dewey Tadlock (Candy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
