She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Wilson Johnson and Janie Elizabeth Gainey; her husband Murdock Hicks; her daughters, Pamela Hicks Felkel (Kenneth) and Tammy Denise Hicks; and her great grandchildren, James Michael "Bubba" Hicks and Jessica Lane Felkel.
She is survived by: her son Michael Hicks (Vickie) of Hartsville, SC; her brother Billy Joe Johnson of Hartsville, SC; and her grandchildren, Murdock Hicks (Sarah Gainey Hicks), Meredith Lane Hicks, Edith Michelle Hicks, Matthew Felkel, Dustin Atkinson (Brittany) and Jeana Keith.
A graveside service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Magnolia Cemetery (140 S Cedar Ln, Hartsville, SC 29550). Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hicks Residence (1535 Gadge Drive, Hartsville, SC 29550).
