She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Dixon Griggs and James Edward Dixon; and her siblings, Vidalia Ballard, Elizabeth Timms, Jessie Johnson and Raymond Dixon.
She is survived by: her children, David Earl Reaves of Effingham, Richard Kent Reaves (Ann) of Hartsville and Teri Reaves Johnson (Billy Roscoe) of Cheraw; and her grandchildren, Katherine Reaves, David Aaron Reaves (Sarah), Meredith Reaves, Matthew Reaves (Laura Scott) and Mary Reaves (Rebecca Atkinson). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
