She was predeceased by: her parents, Caulie William and Ella Barefoot Dixon; her siblings, Betty Watford, Charles Walter Dixon, Shelby Roberts and Wynette Jordan; and her son-in-law Billy Kissiah.
She is survived by: her husband Lynwood W. Smith; her daughters, Melain Smith Kissiah and Shanon Walters; her grandchildren, Arianna Scott (Thomas), Isaiah Walters, Michaela Kissiah and Whitley Walters; and her siblings, Edward Allen "Bo" Dixon (Abbie Gail), Sylvia Byrd and Wanda Dixon.
