She was predeceased by: her mother Gwendolyn Hoffman McManus; her sister Greta McManus; and her grandparents, Carroll James Sr., Mary Bethune Hoffman, William Clyde and Nezzie McCarty McManus.

She is survived by: her daughters, Danielle Atkinson Johnson (Brandon) and Carol Atkinson Tarte (Bradley); her father William Kerry McManus; her brother William McManus Jr.; her grandchildren, Harley Quinn Tarte and Jasper Johnson; and her pet Pearl.
