It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amy Ruth Petty (Hartsville, South Carolina), who passed away on April 30, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Ray Petty; her grandparents, Jeff and Ruth Abrams; and her sister Susan McElveen. She is survived by: her mother Frances Abrams Petty; her sisters, Beth Tyner (Todd) and Kerry Parker (Steve); her brother-in-law Ervin McElveen; and her nieces and nephews, Jay, Telissa McElveen (Asher), Drew, Blair McElveen (Wyatt), Jeff McElveen, Mary Catherine, Philip Fulmer (Hank), Molly, Matt Griffin, Emily, Justin Prewitt, Rebecca, Brad Barwick (Anniston), Katie and Josh Schwartz.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to West Hartsville Baptist Church, 1003 W Carolina Ave. Hartsville, SC 29550.
