She was predeceased by: her parents, Olivia Ruthell Peterson Peoples (Olivia R. Thornton) and Casey Peoples; her husband George Willie; and her stepfather James F. Thornton, Jr.. She is survived by: her granddaughter Akilah Kamaria Scott Parker (Tyler) of Ft. Belvoir, Virginia; her great grandchild Noah Graceson Parker of Ft. Belvoir, Virginia; and her brother Levern Wilson (Alice) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by neighbors, friends.
