He was predeceased by: his father Alex Sumner; and his brother Henry Sumner. He is survived by: his mother Katharine Sumner; his wife Christy Sumner; his children, Marcie Sumner (Chip Sams), Candice Lambert (JT) and Josh Sumner (Morgan); his grandchildren, Braden James, Jaxson Taylor, Luna Taylor, Emery River Sams and Katharine Olivia Sumner; his siblings, Martha Taylor and Larry Sumner (Kim); and his sister-in-law Kim Braddock.
