We are sad to announce that on January 22, 2024, at the age of 87, Richard Lee Turner Sr. of Harleyville, South Carolina, born in Newberry, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dannie Lee Turner and Vera Morris Turner Mills; and his sister Sandra T. Marlow. He is survived by: his wife Barbara K. Turner of Harleyville; his children, Richard "Ricky" Turner, Jr. of Harleyville and Julie Fitzgibbon (Timothy); and his grandchildren, Andrew Fitzgibbon (Vinita), Caroline Turner, Sarah Fitzgibbon, Bryce Turner and Matthew Fitzgibbon.
