It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lenora Cordray (Nora) Parker of Harleyville, South Carolina, who passed away on June 3, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John Leroy Parker, Sr.; her parents, Joseph Horace Cordray and Lurie Agnes Platt Cordray; her son Shelton J. Parker; her great grandchild Courtney Lynn Snowden; and her siblings, Joseph Cordray, Wilhelmina Baldwin (Gilbert), John William Cordray, Sr. (Lottie), Melvin Cordray (Lillie Belle), Milton Cordray (Winnie), Lolace Cordray (Etheline), Mary Ann Cordray, Arthur Cordray (Dorothy) and Nell Hilton (Al).
She is survived by: her children, John Leroy Parker, Jr. (Sandy) of Harleyville, Mark Tilden Parker (Kaye) of Harleyville and Tara P. Fender (Paul) of Jacksonville, FL; her daughter-in-law Faye B. Parker; her grandchildren, Christee Jiricka (Steve), Joye Dillehay (Jason), Amanda Edwards (Mike), Jonathan Parker (Nikki), Brooks Parker (Jessica), Matthew Parker (Emily) and Benjamin Parker (Emily); her great grandchildren, Tyler Dillehay, Sara Burley (Josh), Timothy Dillehay, Nathan Dillehay, Noah Dillehay, Logan Jiricka, Dylan Jiricka, Megan Jiricka, Karis Edwards, Brooklyn Parker, Rylee Day, Hailey Parker, William Parker, Anslee Parker, Allie Parker, Andrew Burnham and Alyssa Burnham; and her great great grandchildren, Athena Burley, Juniper Burley, Noah Burley and Aiden Burley.
