It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joicy Bell Neal of Harleyville, South Carolina, who passed away on September 15, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Newton Brown and Viola Prince Brown; her sister Mallevina Brown Boyd; and her husband Deacon James Neal, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Deacon Richard Neal, Alex Neal and Gladys Neal Spell; her granddaughter Carmella Spell; her brothers, Deacon Ed Brown, Winston Brown, Clifford Brown, Willie Brown and Newton Brown; her daughters, Deaconess Sara Joyner (Joe-Deceased) of Haleyville, SC, Virginia Felder (Amos) of Ridgeville, SC and Cynthia Simmons (Willie) of Forestville, MD; her daughter-in-law Marilyn Neal (Richard-Deaceased) of Harleyville, SC; her sisters, Dora Lee Edwards (Rachel Mack) of Harleyville, SC and Janice Bunch (Gloria Britt) of Harleyville, SC; and her close friends, Dora Bell Lary of Harleyville, SC and Ruby Elmore of St. George, SC. She is also survived by six children, twelve grandchildren, and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
Sister Neal had a special love for people and went about her Father's Business doing Exemplary Missionary work as the Lord lead her by calling and visiting the sick, praying with and for them as well as giving donations for whatever was needed.
