He is survived by: his parents, Edward Hicks and Rollie Mea Hicks of Harleyville, SC; his wife Barbara White; his children, Robert Willis White (Brenda) of Orangeburg, SC, John Willis White, Jr. (Deveta) of Summerville, SC and Delonda Bernard of Chicago, IL; his siblings, Martha White of Harleyville, SC, Geneva Davis (Rutledge) of Harleyville, SC, Louise Fields (Richard) of Harleyville, SC, Theresa Smalls of Harleyville, SC, Valara James (Leroy, Sr.) of Harleyville, SC, Ann Smalls (Keith) of Harleyville, SC, Edward Hicks, Jr. of Harleyville, SC, Harry Hicks (Thomasenia) of Eutawville, SC and Robbie Hicks (Alfreda) of Summerville, SC; his grandchildren, Shardae Williams, Glenn M. Lucas, Jr., Ariesha Cannon, Kendrick Wilson (Nefertari), Jaquez Cancer and Destiny White; and his close friend Margaret Wright. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
