He is survived by: his wife Joyce Amaker; his children, David Louis Mack (Lisa) of Harleyville, SC, Rosemary Thompson of North Charleston, SC and Joyce Graham (Joseph) of Summerville, SC; his grandchildren, Myesha Thompson and John Henry Gadson, III; his great grandchildren, Da'Myesha Haynes, David Haynes, Jr., Destinee Thompson and Desiree Thompson; and his close friend Martha Mae Brown. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
