She was predeceased by: her parents, Angela Tetter Pigate and Leo Pigate; and her brother Charles Pigate. She is survived by: her husband Danny Sweatman; her children, Willis Sweatman (Mary) of Harleyville, Lenward Sweatman, Hamlin Sweatman (Peggy) of Dorchester, Keith Sweatman (Angie) of St. George and Becky Infinger (Ronnie) of Dorchester; and her close friends, Taz and Lucky. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 30 great- grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.

Memorials maybe made to the Alzheimer's Foundation in memory of Italeen.
