He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Lucile Weaver and James Isaac Baker; and his siblings, Winifred Mellard and J. B. Baker. He is survived by: his wife Donna Pierce Baker; his children, Penny Hope Baker Elliott of Irmo and Wayland Ray Baker of Harleyville; his grandson James Christopher Elliott; and his siblings, Wilma Page (Bill) of Huntsville, AL, Christine Hutto, Frank Baker (Phyllis), Walterboro, Ronnie Baker (Peggy), Ladson, Donnie Baker (Rhonda) and Grover.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 81 Gadsden Street, Charleston, SC 29401.
