He was predeceased by: his parents, Holcombe "Marion" Bell, Sr. and Mamie Mims Bell; his daughter Bobbie Lorraine Bell; his siblings, James A. Bell, Sr., Joseph M. Bell and Laura Jane Bell; and his nephew James A. Bell, Jr..
He is survived by: his great-niece Lynne Bell Reeves (Jeff) of Elloree; his son Rodney R. Bell (Cheryl Ringley) of Eutawville; his grandchildren, Danielle Watson McCall (Brian) of North Charleston, Ashleigh Lauraine Watson of Summerville, Hunter Christian Watson of Summerville, Logan Bryant Bell (Morgan Kemmerlin) of Harleyville and Dawson Marion Bell of Eutawville; his great grandchildren, Caleb Austin McCall of North Charleston and Caulder Bryant Bell of Harleyville; his siblings-in-law, Rose Pendarvis Bell of St. George, Becky Priddy Miller (Robert) of Jacksonville, FL, Ron Priddy (Kathy) of Fairfax, VA and Russell Priddy (Liesa) of Immokalee, FL; his friends, Larry Bowers, Brian Collins, Danny Westbury and Andy Bell; and his close friend Barbara Bair Villeponteaux. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to Bethel United Methodist Church, 1163 Beidler Forest Rd., Dorchester, SC 29437.
