Sadie Stiney Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 2, 2020, at the age of 97, Sadie Stiney of Hardeeville, South Carolina, born in Covington, Virginia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sadie Stiney to pay them a last tribute.
She is survived by: her son Rodney Stiney (Ruth) of Hardeeville; her grandsons, Nicholas of Atlanta Ga and Aaron Stiney of Atlanta Ga; and her friend Mrs Johnnie Mae Dopson.
Sadie always wanting to broaden her horizon, she moved to Savannah, GA where she was employed at Charity Hospital which was the first black Hospital in Savannah, GA that trained African-American doctors and nurses. Charity Hospital later became Harris Nursing Home.
