He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Boyd and Queen Boyd; and his brother Jack Boyd. He is survived by: his wife Alice Smith Boyd; his daughter Christy DeCosta (O. C.); his grandchildren, Marcus Boyd (Monica), Kalani, Tatiyana and Adrienne DeCosta; his great grandchild Autumn Boyd; his sister Lynn Collins (David); and his brother-in-law Randy Smith (Vivian). He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces.
