With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Scott of Hardeeville, South Carolina, born in Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on April 27, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Murphy and Matilda Cooler Murphy; her husband Tom Scott Sr.; her son Glenn Scott; her grandsons, Brad Keiffer and Grady Malphrus; and her siblings, Robert Murphy, Ronnie Murphy and Frances Bailey.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Scott, Jr. (Cindy), Clyde Scott (Marcy), Jimmy Scott (Gina), Wayne Murphy (Jackie), Teresa Hope (Jerry), Tracy Fialkowski and Tillie Keiffer; her sister Margie Lipham; her daughter-in-law Sue Scott; and her sister-in-law Betty Murphy. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren.
