James Earl Berns Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 16, 2021, at the age of 83, James Earl Berns of Hanahan, South Carolina, born in Wyandotte, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson William Berns and Mildred Estella Hesburn Berns; his spouse Lauralea Brown; and his sister Patricia Cooksey. He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Morgan of North Charleston, SC, Jamie Berns (Traci) of Carmel, IN and Jennifer Childress (Ken) of Hanahan, SC; and his grandchildren, Michael E. Berns (Megan) of Fayetteville, NC, Jake Berns of Indianapolis, IN, Jessica Berns of Indianapolis, IN, Keri Brown (Ryan) of Hanahan, SC and Kelsi Brewer (Gary) of Charleston, SC. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
