He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Henry "Pat" Brown and Virginia "Virgie" Bowers Brown; and his sister Rachel Tharpe. He is survived by: his wife Louise McAlhaney Brown of Hampton; his children, Pat Brown (Kelly) of Evans, Georgia and Nancy B. Meyer (Mike) of Varnville; his grandchildren, Chris Brown and Josh Meyer; and his stepgrandchildren, Meghan and Miranda Whitfield.
