With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan Ellis Godley (Hampton, South Carolina), who passed away on February 20, 2022 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph S. Ellis and Anita DeWitt Ellis; and her daughters, Anita and Jessica Godley. She is survived by: her husband Johnson Godley of Hampton; and her sisters, Mary Ann Mixson (Gary) of Grays and Janet E. DeLoach (Horace) of Hampton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family suggests that those who wish may send memorials to the West End Baptist Church, 1049 Elm Street, Hampton, S.C. 29924.
