It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rudolph William Clifton (Hampton, South Carolina), born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on April 24, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. Clifton Sr. and Bertha Elizabeth Thomas Clifton; his brother Ernest Clifton; his grandson Joshua Weeks; and his brother-in-law Ronald Reynolds.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Sheffield Clifton of Denmark; his children, Christy Weeks (Don) of Edgefield, Donna Driggers (Terry) of Bamberg, Debbie McMicheal (Melvin) of Orangeburg, Billie Marie Clifton of Corpus Christi, Texas and Tom Meucci (Karen) of Augusta, Maine; and his siblings, J. C. Clifton of Hampton and Mattie Jean Reynolds of Hampton. He is also survived by Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.
