It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy George of Hampton, South Carolina, who passed away on August 20, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Eugene and Eunice Allie Bishop Eargle of Jamestown; her husband Vincent Waldo George of Hampton; and her sister Dorothy Clarke (Julius). She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia (Pattie), Rivers (James A.) and Peggy Diane Cope (Dee Dee); her granddaughters, Natalie Rivers Fennell (Todd), Stephanie Rivers Carson (Dan) and Anna C. Cope; and her great grandchildren, Mickey C., Jordan McKenzie, Sidney K. Fennell, Rivers M., Miles B., Mary Daniel Carson, Vincent C. Johnson, Madison and Michael Simmons.
