She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Eddie DeWitt and Corrie Sauls DeWitt; her husband Ronald Paul Lafontaine; her siblings, Anita Ellis, Gloria Priester, Sonny DeWitt and Wiley DeWitt; and her grandchildren, Jason Dion McGuire and Lauren Hill Crews.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy J. Lafontaine of Hampton, Paula L. McGuire of Hampton and Rhonda L. Wingate (Olin Jr.) of Varnville; her siblings, Joyce Horres of Varnville, Barbara Cook (Robert) of Beaufort and David DeWitt (Jan) of North Charleston; her grandchildren, Charley McGuire, Alexis, David Wingate (Tina), Nichole, Cory Crews, Christopher, Hayden, Patrick and Brooklynn Lafontaine; and her great grandchildren, Matthew Wingate, Bradley, Dion Crews, Caitlin Wingate, Madison Stanley, Brayleigh Williams, Emmett Wingate and Cameron Crews.
