He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances of Hampton; his son Grover Patrick Nix (Malissa) of Savannah, GA; his grandson Caleb Patrick Nix of Savannah, GA; his brothers, Jimmy Nix (Ruby) of Brunson, SC and Johnny Nix (Betty Jo) of Fernandina Beach; and his siblings-in-law, Joan Nix of Orangeburg and Ronnie Metts (Juli) of Cummings, SC..
