Garrett, Joan E. Kinard and Sally K. Ellis (David); his grandchildren, Robin Garrett (Marilyn), Alton Garrett (Patricia), Merri G. Chapman (Greg), Sarah G. Constable (Mark), Carey Ellis and Paul Ellis (Lisa); his great grandchildren, Daniel, Katie, Emily, Keegan, Ethan, Caden, Jake, Levi and Analiese; his nieces and nephews, Sharon Cox, Jane Lee, Mardi Sabo, Helen Haygood, Barry Brown, David Harley and Richard Harley; his son-in-law Ansel Garrett; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Harley and J. H. Brown, Jr..
